Additionally, chemicals and drugs such as fluoride and tetracycline antibiotics also cause intrinsic discoloration. Drugs used in the treatment of head radiation and chemotherapy can also lead to intrinsic discoloration. Dental trauma is another cause of this type of discoloration.
